Collection notice for project enquiries
When you submit an enquiry, Nexen collects the contact, property, electricity, technology and project information you provide. Optional files may include bills, interval data, plans, roof or switchboard photographs. Nexen uses this information to assess the enquiry, contact you, prepare technical and commercial questions, administer the project and meet legal obligations.
If you do not provide the required name, contact and site details, Nexen may be unable to assess or respond to the enquiry. Optional technical fields and files can be provided later.
Information collected
- Name, email, telephone, organisation and preferred contact time.
- Installation address, postcode, property relationship, site and switchboard information.
- Electricity bills, usage, interval data, existing equipment, tariffs and project priorities.
- Files you choose to upload, limited to approved document and image formats.
- Consent preference, submission reference, security events and first-party website analytics only when accepted.
Use and disclosure
Nexen uses the information for enquiry qualification, design, quotation, delivery planning, service, warranty administration, fraud prevention and website improvement. Information may be disclosed only where needed to Nexen staff, contracted project or service providers, professional advisers, insurers, regulators and technology providers supporting the workflow.
The website stores or forwards an enquiry through Nexen's configured secure intake provider before attempting delivery to the selected CRM or project workflow. Hosting, storage and CRM providers may change as Nexen's infrastructure evolves. Google Business Profile content is fetched only when that connection is configured.
Files, security and retention
Uploaded files are private, restricted to PDF, CSV, JPG and PNG, checked against their declared file signature and placed in a quarantined review state. They are not published by the website. Website upload records are scheduled for a 90-day intake retention period unless moved into an active project record or a longer period is required by law.
Website enquiry records are scheduled for review or deletion after 18 months when no active project, service, warranty or legal requirement remains. Reasonable access controls, request limits, logging and encrypted hosted storage are used, but no internet transmission is risk-free.
Analytics and device storage
Essential device storage remembers colour theme, consent choice and privacy-safe configuration drafts. Optional analytics records page paths, campaign attribution and selected interaction categories only after you accept. If configured, Google Analytics or Tag Manager may also process analytics data. Choosing “Essential only” disables optional analytics and clears local attribution. Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to change your choice.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw marketing consent, or raise a privacy complaint by contacting info@nexenenergysolutions.com.au or calling 1300 063 936. Include enough information for Nexen to verify and locate the record. A privacy complaint will be assigned an owner and an escalation path.
Policy governance
Policy owner: Managing Director. Review cadence: at least annually and whenever the lead, analytics, storage or third-party workflow materially changes. Contact Nexen if you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled.
