Do I need three phase?
Not always. Daily kilometres, overnight dwell time and the vehicle’s onboard charger may make single-phase charging entirely adequate.
Can it charge only from solar?
Some platforms support surplus-aware behaviour when compatible monitoring and controls are installed. Results vary with weather and household load.

Will a 22 kW charger always charge at 22 kW?
No. The vehicle, site supply, charger configuration and available capacity can all set a lower ceiling.
Can a battery charge the EV?
Technically yes in some architectures, but repeatedly moving stored energy into a large EV load may not be the most economic strategy. The whole duty cycle should be modelled.
What happens before installation?
Nexen confirms the vehicle, supply phase, switchboard, cable route, mounting position, load-control needs and any network or metering implications.
