Single-phase or three-phase EV charging?
How supply, vehicle limit, solar surplus and load management shape charger selection.
The vehicle sets one ceiling
A 22 kW charger does not make every vehicle charge at 22 kW. The vehicle's onboard AC charger and the site supply both limit the result.
The switchboard sets another
Available capacity, main switch, network rules and other large loads determine whether static or dynamic load control is needed.
Solar-aware charging
Tesla, Sigenergy, FoxESS, GoodWe and Evnex pathways can be assessed for single- or three-phase operation, but solar-surplus behaviour depends on compatible metering and controls.
